Personality; To start this off, Lyra isn't your average teenager. She's far more than that, and she comes from quite humble beginnings. She started off as a simple Pokemon trainer with a big dream, to defeat the Elite Four and become the champion of her region. Throughout her journey she meets many people, and encounters many different types of Pokemon. Though she is silent, you can learn her actions and bits of her personality through what you do in the game as well as how other people react to her. Lyra is the hero, the kind, clumsy, rather full of positive energy hero. She's sweet and kind, and loves every Pokemon. Though some trainers use their Pokemon solely for battle, or for their own purposes, Lyra understands that a trainer has to make a deeper connection with their Pokemon. For, Pokemon aren't just tools for battle to her-- they're her friends. Her teammates, and she wouldn't trade any of them for anything in the world.

Lyra loves to discover, explore, and find her own adventure out there in the world. She traveled from Johto to Kanto and back and forth. You could say she loves the thrill of the journey when it's really just a mere curiosity. That there's something greater out there, waiting to be found or witnessed. She loves to visit new places, meet new people, and learn new things. She's pretty clumsy however, sometimes bumping or running into another person by accident from time to time. She just gets a little ahead of herself when there's a new journey at hand.

Even though she had her own goals and journey at hand, Lyra is also a very social person. After battling many people, she ends up exchanging phone numbers with them and having phone calls with those she's met along the way every so often. Also, after beating gym leaders from Kanto and Johto she is able to obtain their phone numbers as well. They show respect for her as a person and a trainer, and talk to her a little. They also schedule rematches with her, proving that she is able to sustain pretty nice relationships with any type of person. Some people even call her sometimes and offer her gifts that they've found along their way. From trainers, to swimmers, to even youngster Joey she's able to make friends and form pretty solid relationships with other people.

Lyra isn't one to give up so easily, never backing away or running away from a battle unless her Pokemon are in danger. She's serious and does her best to be levelheaded when it comes to matches against other people, or gym battles. Speaking of, she's also quite clever despite her clumsiness at times. Due to the fact she was able to trick members of Team Rocket into thinking she was one of them by just dressing up in their outfit. That, and she was also able to win each and every gym badge not only from the Johto region but also from the Kanto region. To win a Pokemon battle you have to be smart, quick, and have a bond with your Pokemon. Luckily, Lyra fits all of this criteria. She was even able to defeat the Champion who came before her, Red, and he had been training atop Mt. Silver for a very long time. So that must say something about Lyra as well.

Lyra is never afraid to lend those in need of help, a hand. No matter who they are she'll definitely give them her aid and make sure she can do what she can. As a person she has a heart that is willing to give love and compassion whenever the other person is in need of it. Sometimes this can go a little too far, her kindness may pose a problem and get taken advantage of. However she will quickly bounce back and attempt to fix anything that has been wronged. Lyra has a sense of justice and will make sure that good will conquer evil each time it may oppose. She took down Team Rocket all on her own, so she's definitely not afraid to face challenges ahead of her as long as she has a goal in mind. She's definitely got her heart in the right place, and with certain situations she remains determined.

She's a hero, to say the least. Even Lugia-- the legendary Pokemon that she summons will agree with her. For it takes a true hero to combat the legendary Pokemon, even just to catch it or defeat it. It takes a special kind of person to do that, and Lyra was the right person. Not just Lugia however could agree to this but also Suicune, another legendary Pokemon. After its awakening and escape, it refused to show itself to anyone. If you got up close, it would run away immediately. However, after Lyra proved herself worthy enough of a trainer (being strong in heart and mind), Suicune challenged her to a battle and Lyra was able to catch Suicune afterward. At the beginning of her journey, Lyra starts out as an innocent trainer with a big dream, but by the end of it she's so much more than that. She's seen so much of the world around her, met so many people, battled so many trainers, caught so many Pokemon and faced so many things. Her adventure has formed her into a good person who is willing to help and love other people. Though this is to a fault, one could say, considering she is easily tricked by those who abuse her good nature.

At her core she's just a clumsy person with a heart of gold who wants to be the very best like no one ever was.
